"Homestake’ Sales Take Off

Fife Housing Association’s ‘Homestake’ Shared Equity home buyer Denise Blyth recently received her keys for her new home in Allan Crescent, Dunfermline.

Denise who comes from Dunfermline is delighted with her new home,   “This is a dream come true for me and my son Robert.   I have been looking to buy a property for sometime now but could not find what I wanted within my budget.   This Shared Equity Scheme has allowed me to do just that”.

At an informal ceremony Denise was presented with a bouquet of flowers by Fife Housing Association Chairperson, Lorna Paterson.   Lorna added, “I am delighted that Fife Housing Association could help Denise and other first time buyers on to the property ladder.   This is the culmination of many hours of Planning and Building what is in reality a new mixed tenure community.   I should like to thank the Scottish Government for providing the Grant support, Fife Council for selling us the land and Persimmon Partnership Scotland for delivering such high quality houses.
