About Us

If you were to ask any of our staff what Fife Housing Association was about, you'd probably find the answer boiled down to one thing: Building Communities.
It might sound simple, but we think it's something worth working towards, particularly when rising rents and house prices can make the process of finding a home seem almost impossible.
If you're on a lower income, we're dedicated to helping you live the life you are looking for in the community that you want. We provide a great range of accommodation around Fife at rents you can afford and we take pride in providing the best service we can to our tenants.
Sustainable Communities
Our mission is to build sustainable communities in Fife , and we do our best to achieve this aim through:
- Providing quality homes at affordable rents all over Fife
- Ensuring our tenants continue to see real improvements in their homes
- Encouraging tenant participation and giving tenants a real say in the management of the association
- Being a democratic organisation with simple aims and transparent processes responsive to the needs of the community we serve
- Doing all we can to provide a quality management and maintenance service to our tenants
- Aiming to be a good employer committed to equal opportunities
- Working in partnership with other organisations and agencies, such as Communities Scotland and Fife Council, to meet individual and community housing needs
How it all began
In 1997, we bought a range of houses from Scottish Homes, a government-funded organisation. We've been turning these houses into homes ever since, through a programme of development and maintenance. There's bound to be something for you amongst our range of houses, whatever your needs.
Who's involved?
Fife Housing Association is run by a Board of Management made up of volunteers who are elected from the membership of the Housing Association. The members are mostly Fife Housing Association tenants, and joining is a great opportunity to have a say in how your community is run.
