Wardlaw Crescent

The Association has been successful in acquiring land in March 2007 for redevelopment in Wardlaw Crescent, Dunfermline. The site is being redeveloped in partnership with Fife Council with funding support from Communities Scotland.  Demolitions were completed in February 2007.

The Association is building 27 new houses in Wardlaw Crescent and Fife Council is refurbishing a further 27 units of their own flatted stock. The Association will build 18 properties for rent including a range of two, three and four bedroom semi detached and terraced properties alongside two flats specifically adapted for wheelchair users.

The new build development also includes nine two and three bedroom terraced and semi detached house for Homestake sale.

The development is significant as it will create one of Fifes first Homezones where pedestrians are given priority over vehicles. Wardlaw Crescent will also be renamed as part of the redevelopment proposals.

Work which started on site in June 2007 and is estimated to be complete by October 2008.
