Become a member

How do I join?

Joining is easy! Just call our office and ask for a membership application form or you can download a copy by clicking here.

Can anyone apply?

Well, almost! You do have to be over 16 - or 18 if you are not a tenant of Fife Housing Association. And you do have to be willing to purchase a £1 share in Fife Housing Association to qualify as a member.

So what happens next?

Once you have sent in your form and your £1, the application will go before the Board, who will make their decision. We will write to you shortly to tell you the result - and if your application is unsuccessful, we'll give you our full reasons and refund your £1.

What do I get?

If you've been successful - welcome! You'll receive a membership pack which contains your £1 share certificate, the most recent Annual Report and a copy of the Rules of the Association. You'll also receive invitations and paperwork to meetings of the Board and invitations to membership events. We're very keen that all our members take as active a part as they want in Association life.

Of course, we also need you to attend important events such as our Annual General Meeting, so that we can plan for the future with the support of our members.

Can I do more?

Things aren't working out.

Although we hope that you will enjoy your membership, sometimes things just don't work out. If you want to end your membership, write to Member Services at our office. We'll be sorry to lose you!
