How Do I

Pay my rent

Parting with the cash can sometimes be a pain.

All Fife Housing Association tenants must pay their rent monthly, one month in advance.

If you are having problems paying, it is important to tell us as soon as possible.

How do I pay?

If you want more information about how to pay or need a Direct Debit form, Standing Order Form or Smartcard please contact us

Rent Arrears

If you are having difficulty paying your rent, it is important that you contact your Housing Officer right away.

Although you may find discussing the issue difficult, our Housing Officers are there to help and decide how you can best repay any arrears you have built up in a manageable way. He or she can also help investigate problems you may be having with Housing Benefit, and suggest other benefits for which you may qualify.

Housing Officers can also help you work out a plan to manage your money and avoid arrears in the future. We cannot help if you do not contact us.

Can I be evicted?

Although we will do our best to help you if you contact us, we cannot help if you do not. If you continue not paying your rent, we will, in the last resort, bring legal action. We will also bring legal action against tenants who fail to stick to plans made with their Housing Officer to clear their rent debt.

Tenants who do not pay their rent will be evicted.
