Apply for housing

Identifying the house you want to live in - or the type of house - is always exciting, but as with many things in life, you'll need to fill in a form to be able to have a chance of making that house your home. You can get the form from our office or contact us.

I need help with the form

If you need help completing the form, or if you would prefer a large-print or other-language version, get in touch and we will do our best to help.

I have special housing needs, can you help?

We have adapted a number of our houses for people with specific requirements, from wheelchair users to those with sight problems. If you have a special need, make sure you tell us about your requirements on the form.

When will I hear?

We try to deal with applications as quickly as possible after you have completed and returned your application form. We work out who is most in need of housing using a points-based system. Once we have received your application form, we'll get back to you promptly to let you know whether the points you have mean that you are eligible for housing with us.

I've got enough points, why haven't I been given a house?

Unfortunately, due to the number of applicants, we simply can't house all the people that apply, even if they do fulfil all our criteria. You may find that you have to go on a housing list for the type of accommodation that you want.

It may be frustrating having to wait, but we will try our hardest to make sure that you get the home you need.
